- Owners meet custom-bike builder and drag racer Urs Erbacher
- Live firing of Urs’ drag racer
- Full MY16 line-up on show for the first time
Owners of Victory Motorcycles were treated to the sound and smell of Urs Erbacher’s Victory-sponsored drag racer starting-up at Faak Am See this past weekend.
Urs Erbacher is well known as a custom bike builder in Switzerland and owns a Victory Motorcycles dealership, but he also runs a drag racing team, which is sponsored by Victory Motorcycles.
Urs Erbacher and his team took great pleasure in hosting owners in his marquee with drinks before treating them to a firing up of his nitro-fuelled drag racer (which he races in the Top Fuel class).
Victory Motorcycles’ MY16 range was also on show for the first time in Europe just one week after the new colours and updates were announced.
Dario Baraggia, EMEA brand manager for Victory Motorcycles was at Faak Am See and said: “Hundreds of Victory Motorcycles riders from all over Europe had the chance to immerse themselves in the brand and see the first preview of the MY16 line-up. Urs Erbacher with his Victory-sponsored Dragster has emphasised what Victory Motorcycles are all about – American Muscle! I joined in the riding on my personal Cross Country and made an amazing 2,000km long journey from Switzerland to Faak Am See.”
Urs Erbacher is fast becoming the go-to bike builder for those looking to customise their Victory model. His best example so far is the ‘Erbacher Hammer Sport’ that he created from a standard Hammer S in just four days at the Swiss-MOTO customising show in March 2014.
Urs hints that he is currently working on something very special. “I can’t say what it is,” he says. “But it will be ready later this year.”
